Be Strong and Courageous

Verse introduction

Joshua was stepping into a leadership role he never asked for. Moses had died. The people needed someone to lead them into a new land. God's first words to him were not a strategy. They were a promise: I will be with you wherever you go.

Reflection

God did not tell Joshua to be brave because the road would be easy. He told him to be brave because He would be with him.

Your courage does not have to come from your own confidence. It can come from the One who walks beside you.

Whatever new ground you are stepping into today, you are not stepping in alone.

A word to carry

You are not walking into tomorrow by yourself.

A short prayer

Lord, give me courage that does not depend on my circumstances. Help me trust that wherever You send me, You go with me. Quiet my fear with Your nearness.
