Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time... though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
The Promise Has an Appointed Time
Reflection
Habakkuk was waiting on God in a season that did not make sense. The answer he received was not a timeline, it was a promise: the vision has an appointed time, and that time will not be missed.
What feels slow to you is sovereign to Him. God is never early, never late, and never careless with the lives He is shaping. Delay is not denial. It is preparation wrapped in patience.
If God has not opened it yet, it is not because He has forgotten. It is because the moment He chose has not arrived.
A word to carry
“What God has appointed cannot be missed by the one who keeps waiting.”
A short prayer
“God, give me patience that does not run out. Help me hold on to what You have spoken, even when the wait is heavy. I trust that what You promised, You will fulfill.”
Closing encouragement
The delay is not denial. The appointed time is still coming.
