Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Trust Beyond What You Can Trace

Reflection

Understanding is comforting. But God rarely hands it to us in advance. He hands us Himself, and asks us to walk.

Job did not get an explanation. He got an encounter. Mary did not get a plan. She got a promise. Abraham did not get a map. He got a voice telling him to go. Each of them trusted the character of God more than the clarity of the moment.

When you cannot trace His hand, trust His heart. The cross is enough evidence of His love to silence every other question.

A word to carry

Faith is trusting the Author when you cannot yet read the next page.

A short prayer

Father, I do not understand this season, but I trust You in it. Hold me steady when the path is unclear. Let my faith outgrow my need to know.

Closing encouragement

You may not understand today. He does. That is enough.
