2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Grace That Meets You in the Weakness
Reflection
Paul asked God three times to remove a thorn. God answered with something better than removal. He answered with presence: My grace is enough.
We are taught to hide weakness. To perform, to power through, to pretend. But the kingdom of God runs on a different economy. Here, weakness is where grace lands.
You do not have to be strong today. You only have to be His. The strength of God fills hands that have stopped trying to hold everything alone.
A word to carry
“His grace does not arrive when you are impressive. It arrives when you are empty.”
A short prayer
“Lord, I am tired. I do not have it in me today. Be my strength where I have none. Be my peace where I am unraveling. Let Your power rest on me, even here.”
Closing encouragement
You do not have to be strong. He already is, and He is with you.
