Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
He Will Finish What He Started
Reflection
Paul wrote this from a prison cell to a church he loved. He had every reason to fear that the work would unravel. Instead, he reminded them that the One who started the work was the One responsible for finishing it.
You are not the architect of your own becoming. You are the canvas. The hands shaping you have never abandoned a project halfway through.
If you are still breathing, He is still building. What looks unfinished to you is on-schedule to Him.
A word to carry
“God does not start what He will not finish. You are not His abandoned draft.”
A short prayer
“Lord, when I feel half-built and tired, remind me that You are the One holding the chisel. Finish in me what only You can. I trust the hands that started this.”
Closing encouragement
You are not unfinished. You are in progress, in good hands.
